An interesting story of two friends - one married to a very good man, the other to a very bad man - and how they interact. Set against the backdrop of village life, and the struggle of friends, family, neighbours, and church weighing in on every aspect of life, it raises questions of loyalty to self vs obeying social rules and expectations. I enjoyed it.
