Marking the country where a book is set

Most participants of the challenge list classify books based on the country where the author was born. However, some are conducting their reading the world challenge based on the country where the stories in the books are set. Since always being helpful is one of the motos of the challenge, we included the possibility to mark the country where the story is set when recommending books. The same form for adding books is used for marking the country where the story is set as shown in the form below.

1. Click on the “Tags” section of the recommend book form marked in red above.
2. Type the first few letters of the name of the country.
3. A list of countries will appear on the dropdown list.
4. Type the full name of the country or select the country from the dropdown list.

That’s all. Remember that the country where the author was born and the country where the book is set are in different sections of the “recommend book” form. Most of the times the two values are the same, but you still need to select them separately when recommending a book.
