Dara Horn writes of the evils, dangers, and horrific reality of anti-Semitism and of understanding of the Jewish experience. Her at times sarcastic tone is highly appropriate, informative and myth busting.
I learned new things about the Jewish diaspora in this fascinating book I did not know China had ever had a Jewish community! It highlights how and why the Jewish people around the world have so many fears and anxieties. (These traumas have a genetic effect)
I loved saying “between the raindrops”—a Hebrew expression which is mentioned in the book.
This book should be a warning against discriminations old and new, surfacing in a dangerous time.
