Original language: English Was the book good? It's touching, emotional. Is it good for this challenge? No, not really. It takes place in Germany, written by a son of German/Austrian emigrants. I found it interesting, because I think it needed this perspective from an outsider, who still has close ties to Germany, to be as compassionate as it is - books by German authors usually are much harsher. But it is not about Australia.
