Había conocido a Maximiliano Barrientos (Bolivia, 1979) a través de su excelente libro de cuentos La casa en llamas.
En este caso, se aventura a una novela casi apocalíptica, en un escenario de una supuesta guerra civil, de una tremenda crudeza y crueldad. Me pareció que la novela presenta algunas fallas en la construcción y la ilación, casi una fractura entre la primera y la segunda parte.
