C'est un plaisir de se replonger dans l'univers de Mma Ramotswe, un univers certes un peu caricatural et idéalisé, mais qui prend vie de façon tellement imagée sous la plume de l'auteur. Plusieurs intrigues se côtoient, les enquêtes étant somme toute secondaires, au profit de ce qu'elles révèlent sur les personnages de l'histoire qui sont tout aussi attachants dans ce tome que dans le précédent.
